Category Photo Issue - Secret_Agent_Super_Dragon - 2025-10-25 I have two servers running on Windows 11. Since this update, which has kind of been a mess for me, I have not been able to add a custom picture to one of my categories. On both servers I had to remove that specific library to do some maintenance. I have been able to re-add it back fine but no matter what I do I cannot get it to accept my custom image, which has been the same image for years. Any clue on how to fix this? This is specifically my Doc TV Shows. I can see the file I uploaded in the "C:\ProgramData\Jellyfin\Server\root\default\Doc TV Shows" folder but I just have a blank photo. Thanks RE: Category Photo Issue - Secret_Agent_Super_Dragon - 2025-10-26 Sorry, crisis averted. Library took over 13 hours to complete scanning and after the scan completed the photo finally appeared. Don't remember that happening before. I messed up when I said 13 hours to complete scanning, I actually meant syncing. My library on my NAS is synced and backed up to HDD's and it was syncing for that long. After the sync completed my category photo that was not appearing finally appeared on both my servers. One server has access to the files on the NAS and one, my personal local one, accesses the files on the backup HDD's. Because both systems were in use syncing it just didn't want to populate the category photo for whatever reason. I have noticed, however, that my setup has been constantly syncing season.nfo files, even now. I'm not sure why this is happening, it could be completely independent from Jellyfin but it typically only syncs when a file has changed or been updated, so I can't tell if Jellyfin is constantly updating the season.info files or if it's just taking forever to sync. |
