10.11.0 & Tailscale stopped working - Forkboy - 2025-10-26

Hello and any help is appreciated.

Before updating to 10.11.0 I was able to configure a few clients on my Android Phone (I use different clients for when I'm outside of my home network) so I don't have to change the connection IP when I'm not home. Example: I use Findroid when at home on my phone, but I use Jellyfin Native app with the Tailscale Tunnel IP when I'm at work in another state. I also use Symfonium for music outside of my network. Before this update it simple worked, I'd leave my home turn on the Tailscale VPN open Symfonium and drive into work listening to my music via Tailscale & my Jellyfin Server.

Symfonium had the Tailscale IP and port 8096 and it would work flawlessly.

When home to sync after uploading new music to my server, I'd simply turn off Wi-Fi on my phone turn on the Tailscale VPN and sync the app to the server.

Now I can't get any previous clients I had set up to connect to my JF server to connect.

I've checked my Firewall settings and Jellyfin still seems to have all of the permissions to be accessed through the Firewall.

Is there something I'm missing that I need to do now with this new version?

To test if it was my Server blocking I tested the same connection to my Kavita Comicbook Server and it connects fine with the Tailscale VPN tunnel under the same use case.

I'm running Jellyfin on a Windows 10 PC (for years now) and have been using this exact set up for accessing my JF Server for almost 3 years without issue.
I've check with Symfonium Trouble Shooting via the Forum (since they had a recent update also) but they seem to believe it's a Jellyfin issue.

I'm really trying to use my Jellyfin more than Plex, since they started to move more away from Self Hosting media, so please does anyone know a solution?
