Finamp Doesn't Work After Server Update 10.11 - jellykrabbypatty - 2025-10-26
It appears as of this post Finamp app on ios does not work correctly with the new Jellyfin server. It connects to server and shows music album thumbnails but gives a grey screen when clicking on albums.

UPDATE: It looks like music I initially scan in AFTER updating to the new server works, but anything that was added while on the old server has some sort of data corruption and grey screens out.
I guess deleting the entire library and rebuilding from scratch would technically fix it...I'll think on it

I know Jellyfin is not responsible for third party apps like Finamp but I found error logs I get when I click on an album and get a grey screen. I thought I would include screenshots of it here if anyone is interested or experiencing the same issue. It looks like it's getting some sort of range issue. Hopefully I don't doxx myself. :P

I got it working. I found that if I "replaced all metadata" for an album, it would then work on FinAmp instead of erroring to a grey screen. Using the "scan for new and updated files" did not work. I ended up doing the "replace all metadata" option for that entire library and the app is working again.
