New Jellyfin Server/Web release: 10.11.1 - ReleaseBot - 2025-10-27
We are pleased to announce the latest stable release of Jellyfin, version 10.11.1!
This minor release brings several bugfixes to improve your Jellyfin experience.
As always, please ensure you stop your Jellyfin server and take a full backup before upgrading!
If you are upgrading from any release before 10.11.0, please ensure that you read the 10.11.0 release notes in our blog post here before proceeding!

still cant open any "other" libraries spins forever
I've del all json and nfo, leaving only the video files and associated image, no change
collections does launch now

Metadata scanning for libraries is my biggest issue since updating, especially with music but overall the system is just slow at handling metadata now.
Anything to improve library scanning / metadata performance coming?

Same here.
I've added 10 Seasons of Chicago PD. It took about 1.5 hour to show up in my Chicago PD show entry I already had.
I'm still experimenting with Jellyfin but wonder what will happen when I add my 4000 movies and 25000 episodes library.

I have about 20k videos - works flawlessly in 10.10.7 but in 10.11.1 it takes forever to load and it loads only the first 10 folders before crashing out.
Reverted back to 10.10.7 until huge library is fixed

Unfortunately, I'm still getting the same error... Docker on DS920+. From 10.10.7 to 10.11.1.
I can't figure out if I should let the package run or stop it to rollback with my backup :

You really should've taken more time and testing on these releases.
Its a major release with breaking changes, and you are not a small, selfhosted app anymore.
