Artist images with no Artist directory? - hatta - 2023-10-16
I have a bunch of compilation discs with many different artists. These artists don't have their own directory, but exist in Jellyfin because the files are tagged with the artist name.
If they had their own directory, I could drop a default.jpg in the Artist folder. But they don't so I can't.
I could use Edit images in the GUI to manually add images for each artist, but oh boy that would be tedious.
Is there a way to enter images into Jellyfin for these artists with CLI tools? I can handle batch acquiring images, but how do I tell Jellyfin to use them?

If you have the skill set, you could probably use the Jellyfin API to automate this task.
