Effect of directory changes on scanned media - Triggerfappy115 - 2025-10-28
I recently started playing around with Jellyfin and expect to massively upgrade my storage system, including more drives and some sort of redundancy. This will likely involve moving around a lot of shows to different drives. My question is whether there is a specific way they should be moved to ensure Jellyfin keeps track of where it moved to and does not see the moved show as a new media. My main headache would come with the Anime since I already had to manually identify a few shows and would hate to have to do it again when I move them.
