Plex User Switching - Loppydog - 2025-10-29
Hello all. I have been a Plex user for a while now and I am moving over to Jellyfin. So far, everything is making sense, but I have a couple questions.
First, I am using Firesticks for playback. By default the look on the firesticks are very busy and hard to read the library. I want to remove the backgrounds and “tame” it down a bit. On the PC it does not display this way. If I change the theme on the pc, will it translate to the firestick?
Second, in Plex I had a “downloads” folder where it would show videos in that folder. The downloads folder just has all downloads and Plex somehow filtered out the junk and just showed the video files. I tried to use the filter system in Jellyfin, but it also did not translate to the Firestick.
