Hey All,
I've got this on going project, I'm trying to get off Plex. While I've had a lifetime plexpass for the last 12 years, I'm not a fan of recent changes. So I've started to play with Jellyfin. Part of my struggle is that my Synology NAS doesn't allow me to transcode. When I tried to play the media through browsers, or Roku client, I often the error messages. I can successfully play media through the Jellyfin Media Player client.
I think my solution is to setup a Zimaboard 2; have it run Jellyfin, which should allow for transcoding. I want to leave my media on the Synology though. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Upfront, I'm not a docker user. I've tried it in the past, and I've always gotten a headache.
