Share an existing library with Plex - Goldbug - 2025-10-31
Hi, I am new to Jellyfin.
I installed the Synoforum package on my Synology DS920+ and set it up. It is running fine.
I want to test drive Jellyfin to see if it can replace my Plex Media Server…
I already have a large media library tagged for using Plex.
I have pointed Jellyfin to my Movies and TV series libraries.
I want to share that library with Jellyfin without having Jellyfin edit metadata created by Plex.
I am uncertain how to achieve this.
I did not find much help in the tutorial and other “how to” guides.
Can someone please help me?
