Crashing while scanning - zwiebl - 2025-11-01 so yesterday i updated from 10.10.3 to 10.11.1 (windows) and also upgraded my hdds where my media is stored. when scanning all libraries jellyfin just crashed and stoped at around 24%. then i found this issue https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues/15207 that has to do with metadata. so i replaced all metadata and then it could complete the scan. did multiple scans and all worked. some items were not identified so i id'd em manually with tmdb code. once i was done in the evening i scanned the libriary again and i kept crashing / stopping at 24% again. tried about 3-4 times. today i wake up and try again and it completes the scan without issue. 2 hours later i do another scan and it crashes / stops again at 24% RE: Crashing while scanning - zwiebl - 2025-11-03 i still need help. no idea what the issue is. sometimes it can complete the scan. but most of the time it just crashes. here is a fresh log but it doesnt help much. yes E:\#Serien and playlists are empty. RE: Crashing while scanning - Glorp - 2025-11-10 I'm having this EXACT same issue. I upgraded to 10.11.2, completely fresh install on a new drive, deleted all my previous data from before, doesn't fix it. Same as you, I built the libraries, they all scanned in, 24 hours go by and scanning crashes the server. No plugins, nothing. I can also scan each library individually no problem. This has to be a bug. Let me know if you find a fix! RE: Crashing while scanning - zwiebl - 2025-11-13 my fix is i removed library scan from scheduled tasks & stopped clicking the scan all libraries button |
