How to ignore textless posters - iFelix94 - 2025-11-01 I don't understand if I configured the libraries incorrectly or if it's a Jellyfin issue. When a poster is not available in my language (Italian), instead of showing the original poster, it automatically selects a textless poster, which is visually awful. Even with manual search, the results are in the following order: 1st Italian posters, 2nd textless posters, 3rd posters in the original language, and, if I select the option for all five, 4th posters in other languages. This happens with any metadata provider. For example, with TheTVDB, the first two choices are textless posters, and only then come those in English: How can I give priority to the original language as a fallback? RE: How to ignore textless posters - iFelix94 - 2025-11-11 Can no one help me? RE: How to ignore textless posters - theguymadmax - 2025-11-11 There is no fallback option that you can choose from. If it doesn't find a poster in your language, then it defaults to texless images. Because I'm pretty sure there wasn't this imposition before: I recently rebuilt my library by finding 90% of the posters without text, while before they had it. |
