Music Album Basic Playback Problems - Powel - 2025-11-01
With the latest update to the music player it seems the basics are missing.
This is an issue with Fire tv and Google TV
How do I simply choose an album for playback either in order or shuffle?
If I click on an album I'm presented with instant mix, favorite, open artist.
If I click and hold I'm presented with play all, shuffle all, add to queue, instant mix, add favorite.
The play all, shuffle all plays the whole collection instead of an individual album
How do I click on an album, see the available tracks and start playback ?
Also how do I clear the queue
Maybe I am just missing something simple any help would be appreciated

same here. it seems to be completly broken on google tv. cant see any songs in any album on my google tv. it only shows instant mix, favorite, open artist buttons; but no songs. when i go to artist and click play nothing happens.
can see and play everything on pc browser. server version 10.11.2 google tv version 0.19.2
edit: can search and play songs just fine on googletv
edit2: also just installed 0.19.3 over wifi with adb because 0.19.3 does not seem to be on play store yet. still same issue. do not see any songs.

Same problem!! Can't access individual songs in any albums on any of my Amazon Firesticks (I have 3), nor my Insignia TV with Fire TV built in. Works fine on our Android phones and tablets and in any browser on our computers. Not sure how long ago (within the past month or so), it worked just fine on the Firesticks.

Sorry, new to posting. I meant to add this information. All my music is in the proper directories, is tagged properly and worked great on firesticks in the past. Jellyfin Server is V10.11.3 on Linux Mint 22.2 Zara. The firesticks and the fire TV are running jellyfin-androidtv 0.19.3 and 0.19.4. HELP! It works properly on all other devices including a Roku Ultra, Not showing the individual songs on the firesticks is a show stopper for me.
