Not the best performance after 10.11.x - Drake97 - 2025-11-06 Since updating to 10.11.1 and now to 10.11.2, I feel that Jellyfin has lost performance overall. Before, everything was faster, loading in milliseconds, and now it takes seconds or maybe more. Scanning libraries used to take about 1 minute maximum, now it takes 5 or maybe 10, even when rescaning the library without adding a file. Does anyone else feel this way, or am I being too dramatic about everything having to be immediate and fast? I use Jellyfin directly on Ubuntu, without Docker or anything else. RE: Not the best performance after 10.11.x - jimmyjoeoneleg - 2025-11-06 Check your antivirus for C:\Program Files\Jellyfin\ServerFiles\Jellyfin\Server file. jellyfin.exe is being flagged by Malwarebytes, and Windows Defender as Ransomware and maybe quarantined, as was my case. Once I placed jellyfin into the safe list, all is well. jim |
