Jellyfin wont run anymore after update - Rafael A. P. Maduro - 2025-11-14
Hi, I'm seeking for any help regarding the following:
I've been using jellyfin on a Linux mint PC as a home server and for the past 2 months everything has been running amazing, with tailscale i've been able to access it from my cellphone while out, the main problem was today I've updated it as usual the box on the Linux mint updates and bam! no more jellyfin, i'm very new to Linux and don't know how to properly troubleshoot, look around fro solutions but nothing helps, i did uninstalled and purge all, then using the flatpack again install it nothing, uninstall again and try via the terminal with the sudo command from the jellyfin official site, it did install and started but then i couldn't make it see the folders as before, please help with the setup and how to make it see the folder or where can i create one so the server can access it since the one i had before in /home/myusername/jellyfinservermedia/ doesn't seem to be accessible anymore.
