Jellyfin 10.10.7 having trouble detecting 4 specific episodes in Samurai Champloo - dipper - 2025-11-20

Hi, I recently got around to ripping & uploading my copy of “Samurai Champloo” to Jellyfin.

However, I noticed that Episodes 16, 17, 20, & 21 do not get properly identified and sorted/ordered like the rest of the episodes (Ep 1-15, 18-19, 22-26). E16,17,20,21 all get left at the top of the season, with the name of the video being the file name.

I believe the issue is due to Jellyfin not recognizing the episode names, as I changed the file name from “Samurai.Champloo.S01.Episode.16.Lullabies.of.the.Lost.(Verse.1)” to “Samurai.Champloo.S01.Episode.16.Lullabies.of.the.Lost.(Part.1)”. I did the same to E17, E20, & E21 (renamed “Verse” to “Part”) then rescanned the media library, and only then did E16/17/20/21 get sorted/ordered properly.

So is there any way “Verse 1” and “Verse 2” could be recognized by Jellyfin like “Part 1” and “Part 2”, so I don’t have to rename the episode?

Thank you!

I think it's supposed to be Samurai Champloo S01E16 Lullabies of the Lost Verse 1, S01E17 Lullabies of the Lose Verse 2. I don't think it will recognize it like you have it named, or it will just use the default file names.
