Rename existing files - cdawg - 2025-11-20 Hey, I am running Jellyfin 10.11.2 on Arch Linux. I have been having issues with updating existing files that are already in the library. For example, the quality of the file is in the filename. I updated the file to be better quality, thus invoking a name change. The files are all still in the same location, just a different name. I am having trouble getting Jellyfin to recognize that the file has changed and that it should update the path. I have tried library scans, refreshing metadata for all 3 options (scan for new and updated files, search for missing metadata, and replace all metadata), optimize database, restarting, etc. But nothing I do seems to get it to forget the filenames that don't exist and search for new ones. Is there a specific method to updating filenames? I noticed some errors in the logs which I attached below. Seems like I am getting "FOREIGN KEY constraint failed" errors when I try to scan for updates. Thanks!null |
