FireTV and Android TV issue - Snipy2k4 - 2025-11-21

I have already opened a thread in Troubleshooting, but have not received a response.

I have a problem with VoB subtitles on my FireTV Stick 4k Max and my Telekom Magenta receiver, where the VoB subtitles are delayed or lag behind.
This can be remedied by disabling Dolby Digital Audio Bitstreaming, but then the server transcodes all audio tracks, which are all AC3 for me, and there is interference.
Can someone please tell me what this is, how I can fix it, or what I can do? Previously, you could select libvlc instead of Exoplayer. Now you can only select an external player, but that leads to other problems.
Can this be fixed, please?
