Jellyfin won't play anything - MrBart1492 - 2025-11-22
I just installed Jellyfin on a gaming desktop, and after going through all the steps I'm able to connect to the local server both from the Android app and Jellyfin Media Player on Windows. I can see everything in my media folder, including thumbnails. However I'm entirely unable to open any movies, when they're clicked the loading circle opens indefinitely.
The error log mentions that the GET on the file fails due to an Incorrect function, but gives no more information (The file paths are correct).

I've tried this with transcoding turned both on and off.
I'd love to not give up on Jellyfin so any help would be appreciated.
EDIT: Nevermind, it was mentioned in the link below that it's just a bug in the current version of the windows server. Downgrading fixed it.
