Documentation - cshotton - 2025-11-26 Nowhere in the onboarding documentation, quickstart, installation, or help docs is there a simple, explicit example of how to connect to Jellyfin with a web browser. A simple mention of "http://localhost:8096/" would be enormously helpful to any user wanting to validate their installation without downloading a native client on some device. Why is this missing? Is it not supposed to be known by users? It seems like the most basic bit of up-front info that anyone would want to see, yet I had to go Google "jellyfin ports" to discover what port the HTTP server was listening on. Better docs, please! Put this info up front! RE: Documentation - FullSubstance7196 - 2025-11-26 https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/post-install/networking/#accessing-jellyfin |
