Adding movies - Lars Christian Gamborg - 2025-11-27
For some reason when I am adding movies to Jellyfin, some movies (not all) is also automatically added to my Favorite section. It seems very random on what movies it is, some I already watched in the past, others are new. Some of the newly added movies does not have the "heart" symbol tagged On, others do.
Its driving me nuts. I tried everything. Tagging the "heart" on and off. It does disappear from the Favorite section, but re-appears after a Library Scan.
I tried to remove the .nfo file and re-add the movie. It doesnt help - it still appears in my Favorite section.
Any idea why this is happening, and how to fix it?
I always been able to remove movies from the Favorite section, until now.
I run Jellyfin v. 10.10.7
I also run Trakt add-on, but I cant seem to find any "favorite" tag there. So I dont think this is the one messing up.
I know the most logical solution would be to upgrade to the latest version - but for some reason I prefer to postpone it for the time being.
