Hello,
my home internet connection had some problems and was shut down for some day. When I came back online, my Jellyfin server was not reachable from external networks via the reverse proxy anymore, I can only reach it via the url http://mypublicipaddress:port. What happened?

did your wan-ip (public-ip-adress) change?

Your IP changed or it forgot your port forwards with the reset.

I'm not exactly an expert... If the ip did change Jellyfin wouldn't be reachable from outside via http://mypublicip:8096. Correct?
So the port forwards should be good too.
