Connection Timed Out Error - eallensworth - 2025-12-07
Hello,
I recently purchased a UGREEN DXP2800 with 12TB storage. I'm hoping to use it for media and installed Jellyfin and Docker on it. I've figured out how to load media into Jellyfin, and it is running through Docker, but I can't seem to get it to connect to my TV. I've tried a few server addresses and the best result I have received is "Connection timed out" with 172.17.0.2. I read in a post that I need to use the IP address from Docker, but that doesn't seem to work
TV: TCL Google TV; I am using the Jellyfin Android TV app
Router: eero Pro (Model B010001), provided to me by Astound
NAS: UGREEN DXP2800
This is my first time using any of this, so any troubleshooting tips or hints would be super welcome.
