Queueing with Jellyfin IOS app - csbx - 2025-12-10
I'm very new to Jellyfin so first want to thank all involved for their work !
Here's my setup: pc upstairs with jellyfin server and music library, Nvidia shield downstairs connected to projector. Jellyfin is running on the shield. Jellyfin app on iphone.
The problem: I'm trying to play music without having to turn my projector on and have mapped jellyfin to start up on a key press. But I'm noticing that if I select songs through the phone app, it only really plays song by song--queueing via the ios app doesn't seem to get sent properly to the Shield Jellyfin app (which I've confirmed by looking at the queue on the Shield.
Clearly there is a better way to do this that may involve using a different ios app or by sending to another Shield app, but I'm so new to this that I don't know what other people are doing in this scenario.
