Xbox input issue - romanrunner - 2025-12-12
Hi all -
before I file a bug report I wanted to be sure this behavior was consistent. After Xbox forced me to upgrade from 10.10.7 to the latest 10.11.4 I was pleasantly surprised to see the cursor replaced by more traditional controller navigation. The problem, however, is that any input besides navigation and :B: isn't accepted. I tried turning off controller input from my server, no dice. Tried re-installing the media player on the xbox only to be locked out as I can only enter the username, navigating to the password dialogue box is impossible.
Has anyone else encountered this? And hopefully has a workaround? Thanks in advance!

Looks like there is an existing ticket and workaround here- https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-xbox/issues/114
I know you said you tried uninstall/reinstall but the workaround also has a reboot step
