Transcode Storage vs. Transcode Path - UffDa - 2025-12-13
Hello!
New to Jellyfin and first time posting.
I am running Jellyfin using the App on TrueNAS. Everything has been running well, but I want to better understand some Transcode Storage/Path Settings.
My question is about the difference between "Jellyfin Transcode Storage" in the Edit portion of the Jellyfin TrueNAS app and the "Transcode Path" under Playback>Transcode in the Jellyfin Web UI. How are these setting related and what is the best way to configure them?
