family movie images - Galin McMahon - 2025-12-14 The JF documentation doesn't mention... how do we store video images for family movies? I tried putting them into folders like with normal movies but that just created a folder system. I added images with the same name as the video, all in 1 folder, and that works but it also adds a 2nd entry such that the video has the image (good!) but there is also a copy of the image as an image (bad in this context.) I'd rather not have to filter images out. RE: family movie images - theguymadmax - 2025-12-15 Code: Home videos\Is that the structure you mean? It should only show the videos, with images used as video thumbnails. The images shouldn’t be listed a second time in the UI. RE: family movie images - Galin McMahon - 2025-12-15 Thank you for replying. So in your example you have an Outdoors folder inside the Home videos folder and then the files inside that? So you have to click into the Outdoors folder? I'm guessing everything would work just the same at the top level. I do have it set up this way currently and what's happening is the 1.mkv file WILL have the 1.jpg image as the thumbnail but then 1.jpg will ALSO appear right next to the mkv file as an image. That's what I'm trying to suppress. RE: family movie images - theguymadmax - 2025-12-15 That shouldn't happen. When the name of the image is the same as the video file, it should be ignored in the UI and only be used as a thumbnail for the video. Can you give an example of your folder structure. |
