Can't create collections - kiffeur2pieds - 2025-12-20
Hi!
I'm having troubles with creating collections in Jellyfin, it's loading forever and nothing happens after.
After investigation, I see that I get "permission denied" when I try to create those collections. I have multiple volumes mounted on my Jellyfin container (all have the same /data root inside the container but come from several destinations on the host). When I want to create a collection, it tries to create a folder with the name of the collection inside that /data root (according to the logs).
After tweaking my config here and there, the "forever loading" when creating is gone but I don't think the collection is created (I am redirected to the collection details, but it does not persist when I reload the page for example). I attached my current jellyfin container setup if it can help.
I hope my explanations have been clear enough for someone to help me.

I have the same problem. Ever since I upgraded to the latest version, Jellyfin has become completely useless. Tried a clean install and the same issue happens. Can't downgrade because jellyfin on the xbox wants this newest version and won't run with an older server.
