Initial Setup - TherBear - 2025-12-21
I've got the server app running on my older computer, and started setting up the library, I'm very excited about it. But I can't access it from other windows machines on my local drive. I can't find the documentation I need to help me thru it. I'd thought I could just access the ip & port from other computers, but I get no response. I tried turning off the firewall on my server to see if that was stopping things, but it didn't make a difference. Can someone direct me to a discussion that would help? Or take me under their wing to help me directly?

Ugh, never mind. In the middle of the night (you know, when I should be sleeping, not pondering IT issues) it came to me, the stupid error I was making. Thanks anyway!
