Playback position not saved - EvilUnicorn - 2023-10-23 Whenever I stop watching a movie or series episode the playback position isn't saved. There is no continue/resume watching option when I return. If I check the logs I do see a reference to the time: [2023-10-23 17:59:35.804 +00:00] [INF] Playback stopped reported by app "Jellyfin Web" "10.8.11" playing "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx". Stopped at "2197" ms It doesn't matter what client I use, so I guess it must be server side. I'm running Linux 10.8.11 server on Ubuntu. It's a fresh install on a new server. Any ideas where to start looking? The logs don't seem to help much. RE: Playback position not saved - Mick - 2023-11-26 Hey, I've just had to rebuild my RPI4 server which contains my library and Jellyfin installation and have found this is now an issue I'm facing, any luck on your end figuring out the lack or being able to resume? A quick check on it, this was an issue back in 2019, but the only thing I can think of that I've changed is I've went with the latest stable version (web & server version 10.8.9), not sure if its a me issue during my rebuild, or potentially something thats arose with the new version (saying that I don't think its going to be the version, it looks like its been out/available since Jan 2023). |
