What data does Jellyfin obtain from MausicBrainz? - pixel24 - 2023-10-25
Hi@all,
If I include a music library and activate "MusicBrainz" there. Then use Jellyfin to display. "Album name", "Album artist", "Genres" etc ... then the data directly from MusicBrainz?
Asked the other way around. If Jellyfin is to pull all music metadata from the files, then better to disable this option?

I am looking for a setting that does the following. If this is possible in Jellyfin:
- Metadata should be used from the ID3 tags of the files
- Album cover, is stored in the album directory with the filename cover.jpg, and additionally embedded in the file. This should be used.
- The additional data: Image of the artist and additional information about the artist and album should be downloaded from the Internet.
Can this be done in Jellyfin? How should I make the settings?
