1235u vs 11800h for decode - Auautheawesome - 2023-06-27

Hi all, I'm planning to buy a new mini pc to host my current jellyfin server. I currently have a i5 6500u however it does not support h265 nor the new av1 codec. I'm wondering which cpu would support more 4k transcodes. Both options will have similar specs (32gb ddr4 and 256gb ssd, I use rclone + jottacloud to store media) the 11800h is about $100 cheaper but I read the 1235u has xe graphics vs the 11800h 11th gen uhd, not sure how different they are transcode wise, which is why I'm here! I also have a choice of a 11400h but I am planning on running a minecraft server on top of the jellyfin server, so figured the 11800h would be worth the extra $40. Thanks for any future help all!

See the wiki for QSV below. 11th gen (Rocket Lake) and 12th gen (Alder Lake) have identical codec support. Both are in the same column.

Beyond codec support, I don't think there is a significant, if any, difference in terms of transcode performance between those two processors.
