Cant connect to local macOS server. - Tharayman - 2023-10-29
This is my first time trying out jellyfin and I did not get very far. Installed the server on an old Mac Pro running High Sierra, but the server can not be reached. I should add that the IP adress of the Mac Pro does not give any reply when I type it into the browser.
I have set the router firewall to "low", and verified that the Mac Pro is in fact one of the ethernet clients. I`m afraid that is as far as my knowledge and skill goes with these things. If anyone is able to push me one step forward it would have been greatly appreciated!

There should be a "Jellyfin" icon in the menubar on your Mac Pro if the server is running. What happens when you click on it & choose "Launch Web UI" ?
