i have a synology nass (DS1019+) with an intel celeron j3455
i was wondering if i could enable hardware transcoding, and if yes? how should i to it and what settings should i turn on? modify? and so forth
could someone make a step by step explaination?

Depends on how you are running Jellyfin on your NAS? If you are using docker, which image are you using?
