Jellyfin Installation on Ubuntu 22.04 - Intel i5 (x64) 4th Gen CPU - Bayarsanaa - 2023-11-06

I'm currently facing challenges installing and running Jellyfin on my Ubuntu 22.04 system. I'm using an Intel i5 (x64) 4th Gen CPU, with 8GB RAM and a 256GB HDD. Despite following the standard installation procedures, I've encountered hurdles, and I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving these issues.

Here's a breakdown of the specific problem I'm encountering:

Installation: I attempted to install Jellyfin on my Ubuntu 22.04 system using the recommended installation method, but I encountered errors or roadblocks during the installation process. Specifically: Though I am trying to install on the intel, it keeps indicating amd64 option.

Details of my system configuration:

Operating System: Ubuntu 22.04
CPU: Intel i5 (x64) 4th Gen
RAM: 8GB
Storage: 256GB HDD
I've tried to troubleshoot the issues by referring to the documentation and community forums, but I haven't been able to resolve the problems on my own.

Could you please provide guidance, step-by-step instructions, or any specific troubleshooting tips to successfully install and run Jellyfin on my Ubuntu 22.04 system? Any advice, commands, or configurations specific to my hardware setup would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and support. I'm looking forward to your assistance in getting Jellyfin up and running on my Ubuntu system.

amd64 is a generic term for x86-64 architecture CPUs since AMD created the 64-bit extensions to x86. So modern CPUs from Intel and AMD fall into the "amd64" architecture category.
