What happened to the AUR binary packages? - tronic101 - 2023-11-06 The AUR binary packages provided a convenient way to keep Jellyfin updated on Archlinux. Recently the packages disappeared completely from the AUR. Usually they would simply be orphaned by the maintainer if they're no longer interested in the package. Anyone know what happened? How do other Arch users keep their Jellyfin updated now? RE: What happened to the AUR binary packages? - TheDreadPirate - 2023-11-06 How recently? 10.8.12 was released over the weekend. Not sure if the Jellyfin teams maintains those or not. Its possible whoever maintains it is working on getting .12 out? RE: What happened to the AUR binary packages? - mcarlton00 - 2023-11-06 I believe they were removed from the aur because Jellyfin got included into the official extras repo. * https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/jellyfin-server/ * https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/any/jellyfin-web/ RE: What happened to the AUR binary packages? - tronic101 - 2023-11-07 (2023-11-06, 09:16 PM)mcarlton00 Wrote: I believe they were removed from the aur because Jellyfin got included into the official extras repo.
