Specials and extras in TV? - v6u2w - 2023-11-10 Many TV-shows have specials (example the latest South Park: Joining the panderverse) that are outside any season but still part of the TV-show, and many TV-shows that been released on blue ray or dvd boxsets have extras like behind the scenes and bloopers. Is there an addon that give that create a "Specials" and/or "Extras" under the TV-show together with the seasons? Like: Season 1 Season 2 Season 3 Season 4 Extras/Specials RE: Specials and extras in TV? - v6u2w - 2023-11-10 Seems like that actually is native in Jellyfin now! (Last tried a few years ago and it didn't work) Now that I tried again it actually came up a "Specials" 'folder' in jellyfin. Anyone know what critera for the Specials to pop up? This time I just added the video file directly under the TV-show map structure, the file has special in its name. - Do it need special in the name? - Can I put all specials in a folder called specials? - Is there other alternative directories other than Specials that can be created in Jellyfin? Like "Extras"? RE: Specials and extras in TV? - v6u2w - 2023-11-10 Took a look at an older show I remember I had trouble with, this is how it reacts: It has 4 seasons, one special "Final Episode" without a season. One folder with extras. With the following folder structure: Code: S01 I get this structure in Jellyfin: Code: Season 1 Final Episode have the final episode. Extras have the extras. S01 have S01 episodes, the final episode, and the extras. When I change folder structure too: Code: S01 I get Jellyfin structure: Code: Season 1 Final Episode have the final episode. Extras have the extras. S01 have S01 episodes, the final episode. Not the extras any more. When I change folder structure too: Code: S01 Code: Season 1 Extras have the extras. NO Final episode directory. S01 have the S01 episodes, and the final episode. How the heck do I get rid of the final episode from Season 1? It's weird. RE: Specials and extras in TV? - TheDreadPirate - 2023-11-10 For the show, not the whole library, "replace all metadata". RE: Specials and extras in TV? - jimmyjammy - 2023-11-10 South Park: Joining The Panderverse is listed on TVdB as S00E47 under seasons > specials. Renaming the file "South Park (1997) S00E47" will bring in the correct metadata. You'll also find that TVdB usually (not always) has episode naming for most extras/specials & movies associated with a series. Unfortunately there is no add-on to rename your files unless you use outside programs like Filebot,Radarr, Sonarr, etc.- you just have to go to TVdB & find the proper naming yourself. It might even have a listing for v6u2w's "Final Episode" Cheers ! |
