I'm considering switching from Plex to jellyfin, and I'm a noob. plex comes with remote access, even if it is not the best remote access. Does Jellyfin have something like this? no setup required?

Jellyfin can 100% do remote access. But there is definitely additional setup required and Jellyfin doesn't hold your hand. Plex does a bunch of the work for you, but if their infrastructure goes down you are S.O.L.
