Nvidia p400 or nvidia K2200 - Toxinking - 2023-11-21
Hi everyone,
I would like to use hardware acceleration, to do that I need a capable GPU,
I have found 2 listing in my local area
The first one is a nvidia quadro K2200 and the other is a nvidia quadro p400,
I would like to stream my movies in 4k (it's like 3 devices at most), so my question is which is the better card or are they both obsolete?

need to consider what host is going to be running these which translates driver support and future support
the K2200 is from 2014 and may already have lost support, if not then it will any time
the P400 is from 2017 is likely at the edge of support but could be dropped at any time
typical support lifespan is 3-5 years otherwise ubuntu or windows would carry drivers from 1995 which would bloat the crap out of an installation and exacerbate support

Besides driver support, only the P400 has HEVC 10 bit support.
