Admin Links Poll - thornbill - 2023-07-07
Should the admin links be displayed in the drawer, the user menu, or both?
In the current UI (10.8 and earlier) they are displayed in both places. In the experimental layout in unstable they only display in the drawer at the moment, but I instinctively always try to use the user menu. Maybe it makes more sense for the drawer to focus on library views?

I vote for sidebar/drawer only. User menu should be for user-specific things, while the drawer admin stuff is server-wide. So I think that's a pretty clear deliniation.

I wasn't even aware of the link in the drawer, and have been using the user menu to get at the dashboard ever since the direct link in the header got removed.

Well I guess if there is not a clear winner we will just stick with both for now… 😅
