Moving a movie to another folder - melawaz - 2023-07-09
I made a mistake of putting a movie in my daughter's movie folder that should have been in my movie folder.
So Jellyfin scanned it and it appears on her movie list. How do I move the movie? Can I just cut the movie's folder and paste it to my movie folder?

yep, after you move the file/folder you can refresh metadata on both libraries in JF and say "Scan for new and updated files" and it should remove it from the one and have it appear in the other.
