Music metadata broken - flymetothemoon - 2023-11-27 Hello, I've been trying to find solution for this on google but haven't found anything. Why this happens? There are albums where the thumbnails and backdrops on them are messed up but can't figure out why and how to fix it. Like pictures from other places/artists, not even related or anything. Any help? I am using the latest everything, everything is updated, on Win10, installed, not portable. I've ran all my music through picard/musicbrainz so all the metadata is correct. RE: Music metadata broken - FireSale - 2023-11-27 Metadata Agents: Configuration or conflicts in agents fetching data from online sources might pull incorrect information. Metadata Storage: Inconsistencies in storing or retrieving metadata from the database or cache can lead to displaying wrong thumbnails/backdrops. Parsing Errors: Mistakes or discrepancies in parsing embedded metadata within media files (e.g., ID3 tags for music) can cause Jellyfin to misinterpret and display incorrect artwork. Cache Problems: Corrupted or outdated caches might fail to update with accurate information, leading to mismatched thumbnails. External Tools: Settings used in tools like Picard/MusicBrainz for editing metadata can impact how Jellyfin reads and displays this data. RE: Music metadata broken - flymetothemoon - 2023-11-28 What? RE: Music metadata broken - TheDreadPirate - 2023-11-28 Try running your music through Musicbrainz Picard. It should auto-tag your music and embed some images. Any additional images Jellyfin pulls down should be correct if all the tags are present. RE: Music metadata broken - flymetothemoon - 2023-12-01 (2023-11-28, 01:42 PM)flymetothemoon Wrote: What?
