iPad Slow Slow Slow - Jonyskids - 2023-12-02 I have a Raspberry Pi 4 doing good work at feeding my Firestick with little to no issues. When trying to watch on my iPad slow as a sloth if it works at all? Anything I can do? RE: iPad Slow Slow Slow - tmsrxzar - 2023-12-02 note the highlighted section here https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/administration/hardware-selection#low-power-applications RE: iPad Slow Slow Slow - TheDreadPirate - 2023-12-02 Is it trying to transcode to your iPad? RE: iPad Slow Slow Slow - Jonyskids - 2023-12-02 How would I check? RE: iPad Slow Slow Slow - TheDreadPirate - 2023-12-02 Share your Jellyfin logs with us. Upload to sourcebin and link back here. /var/log/jellyfin I just noticed your subtitle said your server is on a RPi. Which adds to my suspicions that it is trying to transcode to your iPad. And RPis just can't transcode. RE: iPad Slow Slow Slow - Jonyskids - 2023-12-06 It is sent to none. So, I assume not. RE: iPad Slow Slow Slow - TheDreadPirate - 2023-12-06 Setting hardware acceleration to none just means it will try to CPU transcode. But the jellyfin log would confirm what it is trying to do. |
