My jellyfin instance appears in android app search button but can't connect - mashuuu - 2023-12-03 Hello, I come here because I need help. I run an instance of jellyfin in an docker network behind traefik on my synology nas. I can access to my jellyfin instance through the web browser (without a valid certificate ) but can't in any other device (phone, windows app) In the android app when i'm in wifi so in the same network, their is a "Search server" button where i see my instance but when i click on it, i can't login : Web browser : Network : I tried to follow as I can this : https://github.com/AdrienPoupa/docker-compose-nas I'm here, if you have any questions ! None of the non-browser apps will accept it. You would have to add the cert to the OS so that the OS trusts it, but not every device/OS will let you do that. If you got a proper cert from Let's Encrypt it would work properly. |
