QSV transcoding not working - urbi - 2023-12-05
Hello everybody. I'm trying to get hardware transcoding to work, with no luck.
My spec is:
- Minisforum NPB6 - intel i7-13620h (igpu UHD770)
- Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS (GNU/Linux 6.2.0-37-generic x86_64)
I installed Jellyfin 10.8.13 using docker, my docker compose file:

ah, try an actual client, the experience with chrome on any platform is rather meh
also, afterthought, if chrome isn't supporting h264 then transcoding to h264 probably wouldn't work anyway so that's likely the reason the server did not transcode (because it's already h264)

My old server has no gpu, so I was forced to use jellyfin 10.7.7 and I played all x264 movies directly without transcoding in the same chrome on the same pc.
I tried windows client and android client and bouth work fine with x264 and x265 mowies. Thank You very much.
On the other hand when I type in Ubuntu console intel_gpu_top I have 0.00% video:

but it's not a big deal for me if playback is working.
