MINIS FORUM NPB5 for Jellyfin (in Proxmox) - Thrawnium - 2023-12-06 Hello together I am looking for a Mini PC for my Homelab (with 2.5Gb). Now I've come across the Minis Forum NPB5, which looks really great at first glance. On this device I want to run Proxmox with different VM's, like jellyfin. Does anyone have experience with Minis Forum? And use this for jellyfin as well? Or does anyone know how I can find out if this Mini PC can run 3 - 5 4k streams at the same time? Thanks, Thrawnium RE: MINIS FORUM NPB5 for Jellyfin (in Proxmox) - TheDreadPirate - 2023-12-06 This is the model with the 13500H? As long as these 4K streams don't require HDR tone mapping, it should be fine. QSV in recent iGPUs is very capable. Once you are tone mapping HDR, the iGPU may struggle. Our typical guidance for users with 4K/4K HDR content without a dedicated GPU is to keep 4K/4K HDR content in a separate library and to pre-transcode 1080P SDR versions to keep in the main library. |
