WMA not playing on IOS Jellyfin 1.5.0 - Kwakers - 2023-12-08
Client: Apple Ipad Air 2
IOS: 15.8
Jellyfin Client: 1.5.0
Server: Window 10 x64 - Latest Updates
Jellyfin Server: 10.6.4 (X64)
I have rebooted both PC and Ipad.
If I try to play a wma file on the ipad using the jellyfin client it just hangs with the circle spinning, it will play MP3's and FLAC OK, just not wma.
I can play the wma using MS Edge and Jelly Fin in a Web browser directly on the PC without any problems.
I am not sure if it is a bug with 1.5.0 or a server transcoding issue. I have only just started to use jellyfin to play music as of yesterday, so I am not sure if I have a setting wrong.
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

OK. Solved it. Just realised that Jellyfin does not auto update. I have installed the latest version 10.8.13 and it now plays the wma files on the ipad.
