Windows 10 music playlist folder location - KHv33mF2qUcoMezDKgbI - 2023-12-17 Hi, everyone: Very new here. I've been using a W10 machine as my Jellyfin Server for a couple of months now and yesterday I realized it had created dozens of music playlists. I've been trying to delete them from within Jellyfin but I end up getting an error telling me that Jellyfin lacks permissions to do that on said folder. I've been looking for a Jellyfin folder on %AppData% but I couldn't find a thing. I also took a look at the installer folder to no avail. Can anyone help me out here? Many thanks in advance. Solutions: 1.- On the WebUI go to "Playlists", go into the 3 dots menu on one of the playlists and the pop-up window will display the route in the first field. 2.- I found several .m3u files on my music folder and deleted them at once from the file explorer, that solved it. RE: Windows 10 music playlist folder location - KHv33mF2qUcoMezDKgbI - 2023-12-17 So I finally found both the problem and the solutions. The problem was that the media folders had several .m3u files and Jellyfin loaded them. The solution: delete those files, and then reboot the server. Regarding how to find the folders it's pretty simple, you go to one of the playlists, and open the Edit Metadata options first thing it shows is the location of the playlist file. Sorry for the inconvinience and thanks to anyone taking some time reading this. |
