Forum Suggestions and Requests - matt - 2023-06-19 Hi! Just wondering if there's a recommended board for discussing Jellyfin Forum. I have a feature request for the forum. Should I just post that here? RE: A board for metadiscussion about the forum? - joshuaboniface - 2023-06-19 Sure, I'd say this is the best place - suggest away! RE: A board for metadiscussion about the forum? - matt - 2023-06-19 Okie dokie. When posting I noticed there's no [Markdown](https://www.markdownguide.org/basic-syntax/) support. I don't remember bbcode from the 2000s tbh :upisde_down_smiley: Oh, and is it possible to add emoji support? Like with the usual "colon" delimiters? Edit: One other request: a way to mark a topic as "solved" with a shortcut to the solution. I find that really helpful in Q/A and troubleshooting threads. Edit 2: Sorry, one more!! The font size seems really small to me. I have to squint or zoom in on the pages to see the text clearly (this is a problem on several forums -- and yes I have good eyesight ) RE: A board for metadiscussion about the forum? - LambTalk - 2023-06-19 Is there a feature or function that allows us to view a stream of all unread content? I've seen on some forums they have like an Activity Stream view that sorts all posts on the forum based on most recent replies. This would save someone like myself who likes reading anything and everything from having to jump around the various subforums RE: A board for metadiscussion about the forum? - Venson - 2023-06-19 (2023-06-19, 06:33 AM)LambTalk Wrote: Is there a feature or function that allows us to view a stream of all unread content? There should be an RSS plugin for you to use for that Jellyfin Forum - Latest Thread Syndication RE: A board for metadiscussion about the forum? - Xanohel - 2023-06-19 I would very much like some finetuning to the \[code\] block. Grey on white (text), or Grey on light blue (selection) is really hard to read. Oh, and in-line code would be amazing. I'd hate to have to switch back and forth with monospace fonts and colors.. Try like this with your image: Code: [img]https://i.ibb.co/WGJhkpB/Screenshot-2023-06-19-at-09-27-33.png[/img] RE: A board for metadiscussion about the forum? - Xanohel - 2023-06-19 (2023-06-19, 08:26 AM)Venson Wrote: - They do. I've seen on some forums they have like an Activity Stream view that sorts all posts on the forum based on most recent replies. That's perfect. Thank you! RE: A board for metadiscussion about the forum? - Graeme - 2023-06-19 My suggestion would be to establish a forum (or possibly fora) specifically for Forum support, bug reports, requests &c. I'm not sure if the intention was to keep all such requests in this single thread, but I suspect with a shiny new system and a (hopefully) massive influx of users a single thread will get a little out of hand with multiple issues. |
