Huge Response Times - natzilla - 2023-12-20 I am noticing about every week I have to reboot my Jellyfin VM in order to resolve this problem. This does not seem like it should be normal behavior. What should I look at to get me a better picture of why this is happening? RE: Huge Response Times - Venson - 2023-12-20 Could you please upload a logfile from the time that has happend? Even without plugins in use it will do it. I noticed it happening under docker hosting a year ago and that is when I didn't have any plugins on it. I then switched over to non docker vm hosting and have been living with it ever sense. (doing the refresh every week) I did also give this system a load of resources to use. Way more than required to make sure everything can run. RE: Huge Response Times - Venson - 2023-12-20 Is this still the same issue as this? https://forum.jellyfin.org/t-thread-pool-starvation RE: Huge Response Times - natzilla - 2023-12-20 (2023-12-20, 01:20 AM)Venson Wrote: Is this still the same issue as this? Looking at the cpu usage history it does appear to be. What I also notice is the large usage of RAM that occurs. Even when on docker, so long ago I had allocated 30+ gigs of RAM to jellyfin and it used all of it up. I don't recall though if CPU usage was also high, but I think I do recall fan usage was much higher when this happened back then. Now I don't hear it because of the bigger server resources. Still, there is something causing this and it always eventually returns. |
