New Router, Lost external access - Schtevo66 - 2023-12-20

Previously had Jellyfin working fine, windows server and a NAS for storage, both inside my home network and for remote users using this guide. https://www.reddit.com/r/jellyfin/comments/hotycl/windows_and_caddy_v2_reverse_proxy_guide/

Recently moved house and now have a new router, ZTE H1600. I had the same router at the old place and reasonably confident the new one is set up the same as the old one. but I don't have access to it any more to confirm.

Port forwarding screen:

Internally everything is fine, but I just cannot get any external access.

I have looked at the Caddy log file, and no entries since before the move so it seems like nothing is getting in at all.

I've logged into the DuckDNS website, and everything seems fine, although if I try to ping my assigned IP address it gives no return

Any thoughts on what to try next?

Do you have the same ISP? Did you updated your DuckDNS IP?

Yes same ISP, I do not have a stable IP address (probably obvious using DuckDNS)

Have changed no settings on DuckDNS, should I need too?

I logged into DuckDns, I clicked update and it said the IP was already correct so not updated

Check your router's settings and verify that it did, in fact, update to your new IP. Double check that the port forwarding is going to the new LAN IP your server was given.

I connected everything up I reserved the IP for the server in the router to the same IP is was before so that all my internal player devices would not need to change.

I have confirmed on the server that the IP is correct, the same one the port forwarding is set for.

I have confirmed IP addresses are showing the same on DuckDNS and IPChicken

So my new service (with the same ISP) came with a trial of their "home protect" add-on which, among other things, blocks ports 80 and 443 from incoming connections.

Thanks for the fault finding tips, turns out I was doing everything right, including assuming that "it worked on this ISP before so that's will not be the problem"
